BLOKK Studio is an interior architecture and design studio founded by Heidi Skogen Graham and Natalie Moody. For nearly two decades, we have been designing high end hospitality and residential projects across the UK, Netherlands and Norway.
Our passion for creating experiences through spatial design is fused with influences from Heidi’s native Norway and Natalie’s years of living in the Netherlands.
The Nordic use of natural materials, clean lines and timeless charm is interwoven with Dutch sophistication, elegance, and attention to detail – infusing elements of authenticity and uniqueness into our interiors.
Our studio is based on the edge of the Lake District, surrounded by fells and farmland with a great view of Blencathra and close to Ullswater. Perfect for our love of the outdoors and finding inspiration in nature. Taking cues from our surroundings, we apply skills and ingenuity to create unique memorable environments that connect with people on an emotional level.

BLOKK Studio designs immersive signature spaces for the hospitality sector and developers, inspired by the rich and diverse landscape of our home, the Lake District. Our designs embrace the sites local context, use of light, natural materials, local craftsmanship and attention to detail, employing a timeless aesthetic influenced by our Norwegian, British and Dutch roots.
This cross-cultural design fusion is a distinctive aspect of our philosophy, creating a one-of-a-kind blend that stands out in Cumbria’s hospitality landscape – crafting spaces that are intrinsically tied to the region. We go beyond surface level design and work closely with our clients to facilitate their vision, gaining a deep understanding of their brand and narrative. We start every project with our BLOKK Studio Design DNA workshop where we will find your True North; your purpose and vision, who you are as a brand, the story you want to tell and how to connect with your audience through your signature space. Having identified these elements, we form your Design DNA guide, providing the building blocks to underpin your project.
